Choke Beat Orchestra

‘Choke’ (a.k.a Adi Rotem), the outrageous Tel-Aviv based artist, is a beatmaker using a custom MIDI Fighter 64 Controller. Best known for his viral Youtube videos, Choke combines light, art and music to create a groovy audio-visual performance.
The Beat Orchestra is the latest addition to his project. It includes six unique musicians (Peter Spacey, Spirulina, Roof, Jenny, Carmel and Ido). Together with ‘Choke’, they create a collective of breathing electronic groove live on stage.
The project is modular and fits itself to the venue. Due to it’s compact setup, ‘Choke’ can perform as a ‘one man band’, as a full orchestra, or somewhere in between.
‘Choke’s’ anticipated debut album was released this year and includes a worldwide collaboration with DJ Tech Tools, the world's leading DJ Magazine. Due to his unique sound, Choke became a ‘Dave Smith Instruments’ artist.
